Throughout history, our world has developed, driven by the curiosity and research instinct of humanity, reaching the present day, and even showing greater progress in the past century than before. This development is particularly prominent in technical fields, communication, engineering, and architecture. Despite all this progress, the happiness level of the living human has not advanced in the same proportion. Although there has been relatively more progress in various countries, this progress is not significant compared to the world population average. Watching current news channels is enough to understand this. I believe the main reason for this is that ideologies have not progressed in parallel with these developments.
For example, in economics, liberal views clashed with Keynesian views, liberal views progressed as neoliberal, then became new classic, but crises still became inevitable. Attempts have been made to take a synthesis approach with some Keynesian teachings. Even in the last decade, national economies have tried to operate on a compound model, but a clear and consistent new model has not been established. In other words, the foundations of the ideology in this field are trying to progress at a snail's pace based on teachings from twenty or thirty years ago. Healthcare is being privatized, but state control and insurance cannot be abandoned, and debates continue over the model. Despite many advanced examples in education, the world population is far from effective and efficient education, and young people are trying to find ways to channelize into the existing world system. Political alliances are cracking, international organizations are losing influence, the impact of the UN is decreasing, and the world is moving towards more fragmentation than integration, but the directions remain uncertain.
I believe all of these can stem from the tendency of humans to interpret events according to certain ideologies. That is, we try to interpret an event or issue that confronts us based on a fantasy/principle we prefer in our subconscious and reach a conclusion and judgment. However, we should know that the ideologies taught, developed, or acquired later have emerged from the worldly life. Nothing in life is static; everything is dynamic. Therefore, we should be able to look at, scrutinize, and form our ideology based on experiences and realities within worldly life, considering the cause-and-effect relationship. Thus, we should be able to develop evolving ideologies that reflect these in every aspect of life for the world population, such as health, education, economy, social life, security, welfare, etc. Otherwise, we may encounter more indecision, zigzags, increasing problems, and most importantly, more complex problems, which would not be positive for humanity. Even if we cannot do it, perhaps artificial intelligence can achieve ideological evolution for us.
