Modest Living

A note left by Einstein in Japan, "Living modestly is more satisfying than a restless life chasing mindless success," gained value years later and was sold...

Atatürk said, "I prefer to lead by winning hearts, not by breaking them," and led a modest life.

New models of the pursuit of happiness provide people with techniques to return to simplicity and minimize ego.

Religions talk about life as a test but emphasize its transience.

In other words, all of these teach us that we need to focus on awareness, consciousness, and ethics.

On the other hand, the risk of indifference that excuses the above can lead to difficulties in normal living conditions and even harm others.

So, what will be the real purpose of happiness?

Here, Balance is a critical factor. That is, while increasing our awareness by understanding the above, it is necessary to find a balance between fulfilling what needs to be done in normal living conditions with mind and logic. A scale that stands without excessive tilting on either side carries a load but also ensures tranquility.

You need to carry the load, but while doing so, don't forget that it is just one side of the scale, don't upset your balance, internal and external balance and tranquility will already show you that everything is happening around you.

The moment when the happiness of the load and the happiness of transience balance each other is when we will feel real tranquility and immeasurable happiness.

It's all a matter of awareness.
