Simple 5 Rules

We are in a situation of "Looking back to the past for the future" for the well-known 5 golden rules of management!

The problems, conflicts, crises, decrease in life quality, and many social issues in the world urge us to look back at the fundamental rules of management science for the last 100 years.

Although the requirements of good management may require different technological and psychological techniques in today's conditions, even if we apply the basic rules well in the current situation, we could be in a much better condition.

Rule 1 Planning; it is observed that planning is not properly done in macro and micro issues. Issues such as resources, actions, strategies, and goals should be planned at the beginning of the job.

Rule 2 Organization; it is necessary to establish appropriate organization and work relationships for the implementation of the plan. Deficiencies are seen in many aspects.

Rule 3 Leadership; we experience major deficiencies in areas such as vision, motivation, persuasion, and effective communication. It can be emphasized that the scattered picture seen in the world is due to the need for a new generation of leadership.

Rule 4 Employment; effective production and reporting processes with the right person for the right job, based on merit and discipline, should work flawlessly. Harmony with the right sections and processes in planning according to the correct organizational structure is critical in this regard.

Rule 5 Control; effective management techniques such as monitoring and measurement methods, inspection and performance measurement, accountability, and transparency, and taking preventive measures are of great importance at this stage.

It is disappointing to be willing to try to fulfill the requirement of the simple 5 rules in a simple way. Wars, hunger, drought, migrations, etc. added on top of all these more dramatic situations unfortunately increase pessimism.

However, applying good management principles for many national and personal issues and problems will be result-oriented and developmental. Just seeing this adds motivation and energy to people. Otherwise, we would regress even when we think we are standing still.
