Time is Not Cash!

Time is money! A proverb used in classical teachings to explain the importance of time spent in vain. A very accurate warning... Competition, living conditions, and the natural balance do not wait for anyone. In a world where time flows even faster than before, speed has gained great importance.

Since the 1990s, with the development of communication and technology, the concept of speed has started to come to the forefront. Among economies that produce the same product under similar conditions at the same price, speed has become a differentiating factor. After the 2000s, when everyone reached a similar speed, the concept of Differentiation emerged as a competitive element. However, we still have problems with the concept of speed from the 1990s.

Although not being able to act quickly causes a loss of time for both the public and private sectors, this loss of time is not just a loss of cash! Every moment we lose today leads to irreparable losses such as loss of competition, economic loss, loss of advantage, loss of opportunity, and loss of motivation, in addition to cash loss. Resource and personnel loss can also be added to these.

There can be no reasonable explanation for the solution of simple problems, the easy implementation of a new product, and passing time without implementing a generally accepted subject. The reasons for this can only be psychological procrastination, malice, ignorance, or lack of capacity. The solution to these requires strength, at least to return to the beginning of the job and correct everything by reviewing it from scratch, which means a loss of time!

To catch the necessary speed without experiencing a loss of time, we must learn to behave in a way that does not eliminate these reasons. Quick decision-making and action are important for both social and economic development, and are valuable for both individuals and countries.

Remember that the time you lose also leads to the loss of what you have in addition to the cash that cannot be replaced. The fact that a passenger who misses the last train waits for the train at the station does not change the result. We must use time effectively and efficiently and manage to act quickly for adaptation to the world. Otherwise, more than cash will slip through our hands...
