Unable to Stay Out of Scope!

Being out of scope emerges in our lives either in the context of a mobile network or when a task is defined. In today's world, sectors and subjects are so intertwined that what is within the scope and what is not has become somewhat blurred.

During a company meeting where the participation of all departments, and even those with external business relationships, turns into a council meeting, decisions may become difficult to reach, extending to long hours. The fundamental reason for this is the sophistication and complexity of life and business relationships, alongside evolving expectations. While this is happening, branding and marketing activities are trying to return to simplicity and streamlining.

Humans experience a dilemma within themselves. Despite differentiation and progress, the reality of a simple, mortal, and short life challenges their minds. It's unclear what is within the scope. In this case, I think we need to return to a system approach and the philosophy of continuous improvement. A well-defined organization with well-established processes, task authority, delegation, and reporting mechanisms largely operates like the gears of a clock. It better knows in which strategic and political council meeting to discuss. The scope at each stage becomes clearer. This way, while dealing with many complex processes within the system, people experience a simpler work life with clearer, more effective, and efficient minds.

Of course, it's easier said than done! However, organizations that create a philosophy and culture based on such approaches are clearly more sustainable and have high employee satisfaction. Therefore, we need to shift our focus not only to the work but also to the management of the work, and change our perspective to capture the benefits of the whole. If the perspective changes, the scope will become clearer, and other elements will follow suit.
